With Ezekiel already there, only character I can think of left is Ripper.
The ones in the Yes have competed in two consecutive seasons. Cuz we got the 15 from S1 returning for S2, the 7 from S4 returning for S5A, 1 S5B competing in RR which is technically the following season after Pahkitew, and all 16 RS1 returning for RS2.
I find it hilarious that this old press release practically spoils the entire elimination order of TDAS. I mean the part where they reveal the cast (minus Alejandro), they introduce them in the exact order they were eliminated during the season.

And I decided to make an episode tier list for each season. This is just my opinion and may be a bit controversial for others alr.
Island had the typical reality TV show format. It always felt like the stakes were high in every episode. Seemed to be the most Survivor-esque season cuz of challenges actually being challenges, all of Heather’s strategic moves, and first-time interactions with the cast.
Action had slower pacing which made it seem more like a slice-of-life comedy. Especially with all the reward challenges. Most interactions between the cast were humorous and showcasing their dynamics rather than gameplay. As well as the much more talk-show based Aftermath.
And World Tour literally felt it had an actual scripted story. Stakes weren't that high and most eliminations didn't feel dramatic but rather rushed. Like sometimes it felt like a soap opera with various mini-arcs within it all centered around the final four. Or to be more specific: Alejandro.
Yeah if they wanted to hide it better, they should've just used an image of all 22 contestants instead.
I just find it funny how this blog post wanted to leave us all guessing who was returning for TDA when the image below was a dead giveaway.
So I decided to rewatch the first three seasons and make a tier list ranking for all the characters. My opinion didn't really change much after rewatching but this is my current ranking for the OGs.
Unlike how there were several mentions of Island in Action, there were hardly any mentions of Action in World Tour. I mean the only instances where events from Action are acknowledged are when Bridgette talks about Geoff's villain arc in the Aftermath, Gwen mentioning how her relationship with Trent screwed up for her, and when Blaineley speaks to Chef about getting busted helping DJ. Other than those, its like the characters forgot/disregard Action or it never even happened at all.

Other than those 5 seasons (and maybe the RR), I don't care to go back to watch the others (ROTI, TDAS, & TDPI) cos I'm not really fond of them at all that much after only watching them once. Heck I think I watch DramaRama more than those three seasons. Is that okay?
I mean he started singing it very often in the first half of the season but like midway, he just says it normally even tho the musical element was an essential aspect of the season along with the trips around the world. It always bugged me for some reason
Personally, I think they should do an Action instead of WT. The film industry's evolved and they probably can make better challenges with the movie genre theme. And besides, Fresh TV has already made TWO seasons traveling around the world.

Each of the first three seasons represent one of CBS' reality shows. Survivor for Island. Big Brother for Action. And The Amazing Race for World Tour.
Total Drama is a parody of Survivor in its entirety but Island seems to be the most Survivor-esque. Cos the challenges in this season are practically the most similar to Survivor's challenges, there's almost an elimination in every episode, and the characters all feel like they can be actual contestants in Survivor. Action is similar to Big Brother for having a lot of social interaction between the contestants, it’s set in an isolated location not far from the real world, and the contestants are always being monitored cos you know in Action, the contestants are meant to be "Movie Stars". And its obvious World Tour has similarities with the Amazing Race with the whole "trips around the world" thing.
They're either confused or just sick of still being on that show.

With Total Drama relying on viewers for a renewal and Disventure Camp growing in popularity, a lot of indie animation studios are starting to make their own reality competition shows. Apart from Reality Resort, I've spotted atleast three other upcoming shows: Exotic Escapade, Carnage Trek Camp, and Adversity Hotel. Does anyone think this overhaul of projects is a good thing? Will it affect TD's future?
