Total Drama News
Hey everyone. As you all know, we've been unlocking episode pages on the wiki alongside the airing of the new season in the United Kingdom. Up until now, one episode has aired weekly, but it appears that this weekend the season will be coming to an end a little bit early. This is the upcoming episode schedule from the CBBC website:
Working K9 to 5 - Saturday 23 March at 18:10 GMT
Off the Hook! - Saturday 23 March at 18:35 GMT
Soar Losers - Sunday 24 March at 18:35 GMT
I've set the episode pages to unlock once the episodes have finished airing, and the times for that should be available in your local time if you check. Thank you to everyone who's worked hard over the last few months to keep the wiki updated. I wish I could have helped more but unfortunately, real life takes priority at the moment and I've been far too busy. Hopefully this won't be our last chance to experience a new season of Total Drama!
Just like Season 5, Season 6 is actually just one season cut in half
Total Drama Island (2023) will begin airing in Canada on October 21st! 🇨🇦
Are you excited?
I just want to remind everybody that any discussion of the recent season 2 leaks will result in a ban. This is obviously very different to discussing episodes that have aired in Italy, so please do not discuss anything about the footage leaked on Instagram, no matter how minor.
Recently, there are some things from the new second season that have been leaked online. Even though spoilers are allowed now, this content has not been officially released yet, so it should not be talked about on this wiki at all. Any mention of these current leaks and any potential future leaks will be deleted.
So as I’m sure you all know, the ban on spoilers has now been lifted. However, it still comes with some precautions! Make sure to include a spoiler warning in either the title or beginning of the post, or somewhere visible! This is just to make sure that the users who are waiting for it to air can have the best viewing experience when they watch it! Thank you!
Hello all.
With the new seasons airing in italian, they are also being uploaded onto other platforms such as youtube for people to watch. This is great! We still want to be mindful of spoilers though.
Since the seasons have not OFFICIALLY aired globally, it's best to limit discussions about the new seasons as much as possible until they do so. We're going to crack down on posts discussing the new seasons, so here's a quick heads-up as to what's allowed and what's not. You can be extremely vague about the new seasons. You can say things like "I really like Bowie" or "I think this season is funny". Not much more than that. Please do not discuss specific details of the episodes otherwise your post will be deleted. Continuation of posting spoilers may result in a block.
Once the seasons air globally, please mark your posts as spoilers accordingly!
Thank you!
Hey everybody. With all the news swirling around about the upcoming season, some not so great news has also found its way to our wiki. I'm sure a lot of people are aware of the allegations that have surfaced about Christian Potenza. I won't go into detail because this isn't the place, but anyone curious can search it up themselves.
One of the main rules of Discussions is to keep things positive. Since this news has come to light myself and other staff members have come to the conclusion that it would be better that these allegations are not discussed here. It isn't about whether they're true or not, just that it's better we focus on the exciting upcoming season of Total Drama. The topic itself is also a bit of a heavy one and not something we feel comfortable with some of our younger users finding themselves reading about. Any posts regarding this will be deleted.
For now, there's plenty of way more exciting things to talk about. We're getting even closer to the premiere of Total Drama Island and it's awesome to see activity on the wiki pick up. Just remember to keep things positive!
Hey everyone. A lot of you may have noticed that a short trailer for the upcoming season has appeared on the Italian channel K2, which says that the show will soon be airing on that channel. With this, and the fact that there is no sign of an airdate for North America, I thought it would be best to remind everyone of the wiki's spoilers policy.
According to our user conduct guidelines: Spoilers disclose information from a season or episode that has not aired in North America. Spoilers are prohibited on the wiki regardless of whether the spoiler is minor or not. Users are allowed to discuss the events of episodes that have already aired in North America.
This means that in the event the new season first airs in Italy, the episodes cannot be discussed on this wiki under ANY circumstances. We will have a zero tolerance spoiler policy in place and anyone who posts spoilers will be immediately blocked from posting or editing, and will remain the case until the season airs in either the US or Canada. This will also extend to leaks, for example leaked pictures of an unaired episode. I myself don't plan to watch any episodes early, and I imagine other staff members may do the same, so since we will be unable to verify if spoilers are true or not, posting fake spoilers as a joke will be treated the same as posting real spoilers.
If people are interested, we can set up spaces for users to discuss spoilers freely where those who do not want to see them can avoid it. This cannot be done on Discussions on this wiki unfortunately, as there isn't a way to hide certain categories, but a spoilers channel on the Discord server or a wiki dedicated to discussing spoilers are both things that we can do.
These rules are in place to keep things fair for everybody on the wiki. Not everybody can access episodes that have only aired in Italy, and not everybody speaks Italian to understand the dialogue. It's nothing different from the rules we had in place when seasons aired early in a different language before. I hope everybody will be able to respect these rules, as well as the wishes of other users on this wiki who want to avoid spoilers.
Hey guys! With all the news coming out about the new seasons, I thought it might be a good idea to set up a thread where we can post and discuss all of the new information as it comes out. This is officially your one stop shop for news on the new seasons!
I already posted a blog on the initial announcement yesterday, so I'll jump straight into some new info that's just been released by AnimationXpress!
No parents. No phones. No mercy – the world’s most hilarious reality show is back and better than ever. CAKE in collaboration with Fresh TV as producer, announced that Total Drama Island is back with two seasons, and is all set to get premiered on HBO Max and Cartoon Network in the US. The two new seasons will consist of 26 half hour episodes of the hit animated reality show.
The long-awaited return revisits the original Total Drama Island format while introducing an updated cast of quirky, iconic teen contestants, as they face hard core competition, brutal eliminations and more drama than ever before!
Returning as host, Chris McLean is accompanied by the camp’s favourite, Chef Hatchet, as they challenge contestants to embark on even more action-filled adventures. Taking place in the run-down Camp Wawanakwa, contestants must give it their all as they compete in extreme baking, TikToking, drag racing and “disaster and horror movie inspired challenges” for a chance to win the one million dollar prize.
Fresh TV President Tom McGillis said, “Total Drama Island is the most exciting show we’ve ever worked on. Bringing a whole new generation of campers to life is a dream come true.”
CAKE CCO & managing director Ed Galton said, “After fourteen years, we felt the time was right to revisit the island and introduce a whole new audience to Camp Wawanakwa with a new cast of unforgettable characters representing today’s teens.”
Paying homage to both classic and present-day reality shows, Total Drama Island promises once again to take reality TV to the next level with insane competitions, major intrigue and brutally honest confessions that are guaranteed to delight fans everywhere!
The first animated reality series for tweens Total Drama Island first launched in 2007 and became an instant phenomenon leading to six additional seasons and a multi-award-winning franchise, which continues to air successfully worldwide, attracting an active fan following.
Created by Tom McGillis and Jennifer Pertsch, Total Drama Island is produced by Fresh TV and distributed internationally by CAKE.
So the two new seasons are confirmed to be 26 episodes long and at least one will feature a new cast featuring stereotypes of today's teenagers. It seems like they're setting this season up as more of a soft reboot of Total Drama Island than a continuation of the show. Hopefully we'll see some familiar faces though!
