The alligator and crocodile are two closely related scaly reptilian animals that have appeared numerous times throughout Total Drama and the Ridonculous Race.

Total Drama Island

In Search and Do Not Destroy, the alligator has its first appearance in this series guarding the key that Leshawna is looking for to unlock her treasure chest. She managed to fight off three of them and successfully retrieved her key.

In I Triple Dog Dare You!, an alligator is once again seen as a part of Noah's dare, which is "wrestle an alligator." Heather is seen performing the alligator dare.

In Total Drama, Drama, Drama, Drama Island, while Duncan and Courtney tried to reel the suitcase filled with one million dollars back to shore, an alligator appears and eat the case. Duncan dive into the lake and ended up fighting with the alligator for the case. In the end, Duncan came out victorious and manage to get the alligator to spit out the case.

Ezekiel tries to fight off a crocodile with a stick.

In the opening sequence, several crocodiles are seen swimming in the Nile river and jumping out of the water around the boat that Duncan and Courtney are on.

In Walk Like An Egyptian - Part 2, the contestants have to paddle in boats across the Nile River which is infested with crocodiles, while singing Rowin' Time. On Team Victory's boat, Harold advises Ezekiel to fend off the crocodiles by striking them on the nose. Ezekiel attempts to do so using a stick (which the team were supposed to have to avoid losing). To Ezekiel's dismay, the stick ends up getting eaten by the crocodile, and Team Victory loses.

In Broadway, Baby!, a giant albino alligator attacks all of the teams in the New York sewers. This alligator is significantly larger and lighter than the alligators seen so far in Total Drama. It ate Team Amazon's boat, but they managed to escape. Also, Chris ordered Chef to ask the alligator's signature for it to appear on television. In the exclusive clip, this alligator turns out to be DJ's pet named "Vince" who he accidentally flushed down a toilet when it was a baby after giving it a bath in the sink. Later, DJ goes down into the New York sewers and is reunited with his pet.

In Aftermath: Revenge of the Telethon, an alligator appears during DJ's world of animals segment. Upon being released by Blaineley, it attacks Beth and Eva.

Total Drama: Revenge of the Island

In The Treasure Island of Dr. McLean, a mutant alligator is seen attacking the contestants when they are in the bayou. As a result from the radiation, it now possessed two tentacles, replacing its front feet and has grown several times larger than a normal alligator. Luckily for the Mutant Maggots, Dakota (who also had mutated into a giant) fought off the alligator and defeat it. Two smaller ones (presumably the children of the giant one) are then seen attacking Lightning.

Total Drama All-Stars

In the exclusive clip of Heroes vs. Villains, Lindsay encounters Vince after taking the Flush of Shame.

In Moon Madness, an alligator appeared in front of the frightened Villainous Vultures. Due to the Blue Harvest Moon, it wags it's tail instead of attacking them. Heather befriends the alligator and vigorously hugs it. In No One Eggspects the Spanish Opposition, a mutant alligator can be seen at the Fun Zone, stomping in the background.

In Sundae Muddy Sundae, an alligator by the name of "Snappy" appeared during the second part of the challenge, where it guarded a bowl of cherries. It attempted to attack Gwen but was knocked down by Mike (as Mal). The alligator then tried to eat Zoey, but she threw mud in it's mouth before it can get the chance. The alligator then gets into a fight with a bear.

In The Final Wreck-ening, two alligators can be briefly seen riding the Boat of Losers alongside the other animals of Camp Wawanakwa, after the island itself sank thanks to Chef.

In This Is The Pits!, while Max and Scarlett are traversing through a cave full of hazardous stalactites, Chris sends a crocodile to make things more difficult. Scarlett wishing to dispose of Max, suggests that he use his mental powers to take control of the crocodile. Max foolishly listen to her advice and is attacked by it. Luckily, a stalactite falls on the crocodile, revealing that it is a robot. Using its components, Scarlett manages to construct a universal remote control to help them in escaping the caves.

In Scarlett Fever, a crocodile robot is one of the robotic animals sent to attack Jasmine and Shawn when they breach security.

Flying crocs

In Sky Fall, several crocodile robots to attack the remaining contestants as they climb up Mt. Chrismore. According to Chris, these robot crocodiles are more vicious than the previous model. They are shown being capable of flying via inbuilt rockets, and are installed with MyTunes. At the top of the mountain, the crocodiles attempts to stop Shawn from retrieving the flag and one of them successfully swallow him. However, he manages to break out of the crocodile by destroying it from the inside, winning the challenge. Meanwhile, Sky manage to land on one of them after she was pushed off the cliff by Sugar and direct it to lift her to the finish line. At the end of the episode, Sugar is seen applying make up on a crocodile.

Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race

In Ca-Noodling, Josee and MacArthur trick a blind Devin into thinking a crocodile is a large catfish. He brings the crocodile into his team's boat where it promptly eats all the fish they had caught. However, Brody uses the Heimlich maneuver to make the crocodile regurgitate all the fish, so they still end up completing the challenge.

In A Million Ways to Lose a Million Dollars, during Josee's tantrum after coming in third place, she picks up an alligator from the fountain and throws it at Don and Jacques.


  • In Chomp Sewey, the player plays as the albino alligator from Broadway, Baby!. The objective is to eat all of the contestants in the boat. The regular alligator appears in the beginning on a refrigerator.
  • Total Drama Action is currently the only season in which neither the alligator nor the crocodile appear.
