When Beth is told that the impending arrival of a baby brother is about to ruin her life, she runs away to find a new family.
Plot[]
Beth walks into the playground, stating that she has an announcement to make, she then states that she will be getting a baby brother. Beth then asks why she doesn't hear any celebrating, Courtney whispers to Noah that Beth must still think that this is a good thing. Owen asks Beth if she has any idea what having a baby brother is like, she says she does before being handed a "sympathy card" by Courtney. Noah explains to Beth that she's not going to get as much attention as her brother. Beth thinks that Noah is joking and runs inside.
Beth then tells Chef that he doesn't have to dramatize the situation, Chef is then seen on top of the cubbies, dancing and singing. Beth asks if anyone has anything nice to say, Gwen walks up, intending to say something positive on the subject when she gets cut off mid sentence by Courtney pointing to the clock. Chef's show took all day and it's now time for the kids to go home. Beth makes Chef give her his car keys and she steals his car and drives off. Things get worse as Beth's mother arrives. Owen and Noah volunteer to keep Beth's mother distracted whilst Chef and Gwen search for Beth.
As they follow a trail of car parts, they find that Beth has crashed Chef's car into the zoo. MacArthur says it is "Little Siblings get in free day" but as Beth is a big sibling, she is ordered to pay $20. Back at the daycare, Noah and Owen, clad in a trench coat with Owen standing on Noah's shoulders, are approached by Beth's mother. Introducing themselves as Chef's supply teacher, Owen states that Chef is unable to teach due to "butt flu". Owen then says that Beth is safe in the school and that they are conducting parent-teacher interviews. Beth's mother says she didn't get an email about it but is happy to oblige as she would like an adult to talk to. Chef and Gwen arrive at Chef's car which is still stuck in the wall. Beth observes a baboon give a banana to her younger child, ignoring her eldest. MacArthur gives a lecture on snakes to a couple, explaining that snakes feed their first born child to their other children (who looks just like Beth). This surprises both Beth and the snake and Beth runs away in tears as MacArthur admits that she made it up. Beth then enters an enclosure full of large birds that she preumed to be turkeys. At the daycare, Beth's mother states that she has a craving for pickles and melted ice cream which causes Owen and Noah to gag. Owen says that both pickles and melted ice cream give him diarrhoea but he's never tried them both together. Noah prepares for the worst.
Chef is calling out for Beth until Gwen points to the turkey enclosure. Chef orders Beth to get out but she refuses as her "new giant turkey family" treats her better than her real family. MacArthur however corrects her, the birds she is with are cassowaries, a very aggressive species of bird. To demonstrate how ferocious these birds are, MacArthur throws a pineapple into the enclosure and a piece lands on Beth, something which a cassowary sees. In the daycare, Owen immediately flatulates but Beth's mother states that it was her before going into labor, causing all three to scream (Owen and Noah out of terror and Beth's mom out of pain). Chef jumps into the enclosure and starts fighting the cassowaries, this makes Gwen uncomfortable as MacArthur films the incident, intending to upload it to the internet. As Chef fights the birds, Beth sees that they are heading towards an egg, she jumps at the egg only for it to then hatch. Beth finds the bird cute as Gwen says she only got half of the story. Gwen says that you can pass the blame off to your little sibling, they get all your old clothes when you get new ones and they will always look up to you.
As the two arrive back at the daycare (leaving Chef behind with the cassowaries), Courtney tells them to run into Chef's office. As Beth enters the now wrecked room, she finds that her mother has given birth. Gwen asks where Owen and Noah are, only for the pair to pop their heads above Chef's desk, wondering if everything is over. As Beth gets to hold her little brother, Owen notices the zoo animals from the zoo running past the daycare and Beth's mother notices that Beth and her brother have vanished. Beth takes her brother to the roof and addresses the animals in the same manner that she addressed the kids, saying that she is now a big sister. Among the animals who attended are the two cassowaries from the zoo who sees Beth and her brother nothing more than prey.
