The beaver is a furry mammal that inhabits Camp Wawanakwa. It primarily appears in Total Drama Island, but has also made minor appearances in Total Drama: Revenge of the Island, Total Drama All-Stars, and Total Drama: Pahkitew Island.

Total Drama Island

The beaver is first seen in the opening sequence for Total Drama Island when a camera from underground pops up under it.

TheBeaverPage

Chris turns to the beaver page in his book in an attempt to make the campers fall asleep in The Big Sleep.

In The Big Sleep, several beavers are seen building a dam and building a sleeping Owen into it by a river. Later in the episode, Chris reads a book to the five remaining campers who are awake, about the history of Canada. When he open the book, a beaver pops out from it.

In No Pain, No Game, Izzy claims she had been living with a family of beavers while she is on the run from the RCMP. However, the credibility of her story is questionable.

Owen with some beavers and the other captured animals in Wawanakwa Gone Wild!

In Wawanakwa Gone Wild!, while Chris is doing the recap, a beaver bites him. Chris is about to curse at the beaver, but stops mid-sentence and instead asks the audience if they think he needs a rabies shot from the bite. During the challenge in this episode, Geoff is assigned to catch a beaver, which he proceeds to do. He enters a beaver home and tries to persuade them to follow him, but they slap him with their tails. An angered Geoff tells them to stop, but they continue to beat him anyway. Eventually, he brings the dam to the cage and shakes the beavers into it to end the challenge. The beavers later attack Owen when he is locked in the cage with them and the other animals.

In The Very Last Episode, Really!, an alarmed beaver is seen when Owen is sliding down the fireman's pole, making a loud screeching noise that rang throughout the whole island. In Total Drama, Drama, Drama, Drama Island, Harold mentions beavers to Noah repeatedly throughout the start of the episode, mentioning that he has diaries and sketches about beavers and how they differ to rats. He tells Noah that he can borrow his collection of beaver diaries to learn more about beavers, to which Noah turns down the offer. Later in the episode, Heather crashes through the roof of a beaver dam after a hang-gliding incident, and yells at the beavers, who proceed to repeatedly smack her head with their tails.

Total Drama: Revenge of the Island

In Runaway Model, Cameron finds what appears to be an ordinary beaver, but it turns out to be the lure of a mutated anglerfish.

Total Drama All-Stars

In Moon Madness, a beaver under the effect of the Blue Harvest Moon attacks Scott. Courtney later uses the same beaver to cut the rope of the bridge, and after she tosses it off the cliff, it gives her the middle finger.

Total Drama: Pahkitew Island

In I Love You, I Love You Knots one of the "scares" that Sky had to do, was putting braces on a beaver. After a fight with it, she managed to do it and earned a point for her team.

Woolly beaver

Creek7

Woolly beavers as seen in Up the Creek.

A close relative of the beavers are woolly beavers, who are covered in thick woolly fur and have mammoth-like tusks. They are considered native to Boney Island, but have also been seen on Camp Wawanakwa and the Abandoned film lot. They are carnivorous and will eat humans, which causes them to be highly feared by others.

The woolly beavers first appear in Up the Creek. After the Screaming Gophers arrive at Boney Island, the beavers began chasing them while they attempted to carry their canoes through the woods. The beavers eventually stopped chasing the Gophers after they got to a swamp-like area.

In Trial by Tri-Armed Triathlon, Leshawna, piggybacking Duncan, runs into a cave, and then immediately runs back out, as the beavers were inhabiting the cave as well.

The beavers appear in One Million Bucks, B.C. due to the theme of the prehistoric challenge. Harold, while looking for firewood for the challenge, stumbled upon their dam from the set of the movie Rodents That Kill, parts one and two. However, when Duncan asks if they are animatronic, Chris says yes, but winks to the camera to show he was either lying or playing the viewers. They chase after Harold until Leshawna attacks them, then reappear during the final challenge of the episode, gnawing away at the pillar, which causes Harold and Justin to both fall into the tar pit, giving both teams a point. Contrary to what Duncan believes, the woolly beavers can, in fact, swim through tar, eat things besides wood, and climb.

In Runaway Model, woolly beavers are seen when the contestants visit Boney Island eating the bones of the workers sent in to build a resort by Chris, wearing their hardhats, and drinking their coffee. At the end of the episode, Lindsay is seen asking them for directions back to Camp Wawanakwa, who in turn begin growling hungrily at her.

In Sundae Muddy Sundae, Gwen mentions she got chased by woolly beavers during her stay on Boney Island, but managed to evade them by climbing up a tree.
