- The title, as well as the episode's plot, is a reference to the fairy tale, Jack and the Beanstalk.
- The end credits is a reference to the game Portal, in which a player can potentially put themselves in an infinite falling loop by placing one portal on the ceiling and the other on the floor directly under.
- Owen imagining himself bursting out of a bear's stomach is a reference to the iconic Chestburster scene from the Alien franchise.

Beth thinks that they entered a world where they're all tiny.
The kids get attacked by a squirrel.
The kids run away from the squirrel.
The squirrel chases the kids.
The kids run into the daycare and lose the squirrel.
Owen imagines himself eating a chocolate bar the size of a bear.
"I guess that's worth risking our lifes for."

The kids' reactions to losing Lenny.
Chef wonders who's playing with the firetruck during nap time.
Lenny tries to tell Chef what happened.
