Ella is the cousin of Gwen who first appears in Dissing Cousins.

Personality

Ella retains her original counterpart's personality, being a songbird with a heart of gold whom the other kids like. Beneath her fairy tale princess appearance, however, lies a dark twist. In the past, Ella was apparently a naughty girl with a temper that Gwen described as being like a "fire breathing dragon". While she has since cleaned up herself, she is still capable of getting angry and if pushed too far, she will literally transform into a dragon, and attack whoever it is that angered her. This is a complete opposite of her older self, who rarely shows anger towards anyone, even to those who are openly mean to her.

Total DramaRama season 2

Ella visits the daycare.

Ella debuts in Dissing Cousins, as she shows up for International Cousins Day. She is happy to see her cousin Gwen, but Gwen is disappointed with Ella's normal behavior. Jude, Courtney, Bridgette, and Gwen spends time with her in the school. While everyone likes her, Gwen tries to make her angry so she can reveal her evil side. Ella tries to keep calm and see the positive in every situation. Later, she enters the minion contest hosted by Max. Owen's cousin gets quickly irritated by her and insults her. This causes Ella to transform into a giant dragon, and terrorize the class. In the end, Gwen comforts her and Ella turns back to her human self. She leaves the daycare and goes back home.

She appears in the credit scene of Stingin' in the Rain. When Chef Hatchet discovers that the daycare is a mess, Ella takes care of it by having her animals clean it up.

Total DramaRama season 3

Ella appears in Carmageddon as a flashback.

Differences

• Ella's dress is missing the shoulder straps her older self has and the neckline is higher. She also does not wear a choker like her older self.
• She wears white gloves instead of pink ones like her older counterpart.
• Ella's hair and eye color has been changed from black to dark brown. In addition, her hair length is shorter than her older self.
• Ella has a simple slit mouth instead of puffy lips like her teen self.
• The length of Ella's dress in the original series is above her knees while in this series, it is below knee length.

Miscellaneous

• In this continuity, Ella is revealed to be Gwen's cousin, despite there being no indication that they were related to each other in the main Total Drama series.

References

• To further relate Ella to the Disney Princesses, she was given the ability to transform into a dragon akin to Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty.
