The episode begins with Sierra telling a mouse, which she picked up in economy class, that she is looking forward to a day that is "just the best," as she puts it.
Gwen's gone! I vanquished my foe. Just like my avatar in Third Life. A druid warrior elf with level 35 sword skills and level 62 massage. Now that she's gone, Cody can find his true love. Moi! He's already forgotten Gwen. [scoffs] I can feel it.
”
Meanwhile, Cody is still upset about Gwen being gone and sighs about it. Alejandro is seen flirting with Courtney, continuing his plan from the previous episode, by commenting that she is the only pretty contestant in the competition, much to Heather's annoyance.
Ugh! Back in loser class, again, thanks to Courtney. She should be home right now, not flirting with Alejandro. She's just trying to mess with me, and him, fawning all over — ugh — Courtney.
”
Owen and Duncan are seen eating chocolate chip cookies, clearly enjoying the first-class section. Alejandro comes in and grabs two cookies, then heads out. Owen is curious if Duncan feels awkward about Alejandro and Courtney being together, but Duncan reassures him that he doesn't care. Owen then begins talking to Duncan about how Noah had told him that Alejandro was attracted to Heather. This interests Duncan, who asks for more information. Owen then tells Duncan about how Noah had described Alejandro, which was that Alejandro is not what he seems, that he's a slippery eel, and that Owen shouldn't trust him because he is a male version of Heather. Immediately understanding what Noah had meant, Duncan suggests that in order to respect Noah's "dying words," scaring Owen as he thinks Noah is literally dead, but Duncan corrects himself by saying "parting words," relieving him. Duncan then says that if Noah thought Alejandro was the enemy, they should stick together, making him know that it is what Noah would've wanted.
Alejandro is seen back in the economy section giving Courtney a chocolate chip cookie, which she says that kind is her favorite. She and Alejandro then feed each other the cookies.
Courtney would normally be a much greater challenge, but being dumped by Duncan has completely thrown her. Now I need only give her a cookie to secure her trust. This is what I will do with that trust. [crumbles cookie with hand]
”
Heather, clearly jealous, tries to get Alejandro's attention by claiming that a piece of gum is stuck on her butt, but Sierra ruins it by pointing out that there is no gum.
The Total Drama Jumbo Jet lands on an icy lake in the frozen land of Sweden and slides a long distance across it. While the cast is freezing from the cold, Heather asks if the jackets Chris ordered in the Yukon are available yet, but he replies that they aren't. Courtney demands Duncan to apologize, but he does not understand what she is talking about, so he asks for what should he apologize for, which irritates Courtney, who says he should apologize for kissing Gwen, but Duncan keeps asking, "For what?" While they argue, Cody keeps sighing repeatedly, as he misses Gwen, and Courtney angrily asks him to stop "breathing so loud." Alejandro then cuddles Courtney to keep her warm, convincing her that it would make Duncan jealous. Heather notices their cuddling and tries to cuddle with Duncan in return, but he refuses to and pushes her away from him. Chris interrupts them by informing them that the jackets are there, which makes the contestants cheer, before he specifically says that they will be arriving in six to eight weeks.
Al isn't a fan of my gas, and now he's the enemy, so I'm trying not to fart anymore. I can't even risk a silent one! 'Cause my dad says you can see farts when it's cold out, just like you can see your breath! Scientifically speaking, a fart is just a bum breath!
”
Chris announces the challenge: In the first part, teams will have to use allen keys, wooden sledgehammers and their wits to turn their piles of "I build the tools and pieces" into "whatever they're supposed to be when properly assembled." Alejandro whispers that the challenge will be a piece of pie, which Owen repeats cravingly. Chris then says that, sadly, the assembly instructions were accidentally shredded when they were put through a shredder. The first team to correctly assemble their construction will win an advantage in the next challenge.
In Team Amazon's area, Heather and Courtney start arguing almost immediately when Courtney suggests they set out the pieces to find out what they're going to build, which Heather believes is Courtney's plan to slow them down. Courtney asks Heather to stop putting together pieces because they don't know what they're building yet, while Heather asks her to let go as they both try to retrieve the pieces. Sierra asks Cody what he thinks they should do, but he only sighs.
Okay, so maybe he's still a bit sad about Gwen, but I'll cheer him up! That's what a good wife does! We've been married fourteen times in my head and twice in my online blog "I Dream of Cody"! [giggles] So it'll happen for real eventually.
”
Meanwhile, Team Chris Is Really Really Really Really Hot stares at the bickering in Team Amazon, with Alejandro smirking. Owen tries to be nice towards Alejandro, mentioning the "girl fight," but Duncan nudges Owen, reminding him that Noah is right about Alejandro, and that it's now just him and Duncan.
Cody suddenly has an idea relating to the challenge and begins to work with Team Amazon's pile of stuff, while Courtney asks him to stop, but Heather tells her to let him go, as he at least figured out what to build.
When Owen holds a piece that he says looks like a whale rib, wishing he had barbecue sauce, Alejandro, who now knows what to build, calls Owen an "incredible stupid genius," which impresses Duncan because it was both a compliment and an insult at the same time, and Alejandro says that he knows that as a "complisult," commanding Owen to get a sledgehammer. As Courtney stares from the other side, Duncan says they will need some privacy, so get a plank and a canvass to cover their building project.
I don't trust Alejandro; I don't like Alejandro, but letting him know that doesn't gain me anything, so I'll keep it buddy buddy, and while he works on Courtney, I'll work on Owen. May the best man win.
”
When Cody is done building, it is revealed that he built a wooden replica of Gwen's head.
Heather angrily tries to attack him with a mallet, infuriated that they built a replica of her ancient rival and being useless for the challenge, chasing him around 'Gwen's face' multiple times. Sierra interrupts with a massive metal rod, exclaiming at Heather not to hurt her Cody, and they start fighting each other. In the ensuing battle, Courtney is knocked unconscious by a wild swing from Sierra. As Chris then signals them to sing, Alejandro warns Owen not to tell the Amazons what they are building a boat, causing Owen to scream just that.
After they sing "We Built Gwen's Face," Team Chris Is Really Really Really Really Hot win the promised advantage, which is a bunch of rocks, disappointing Duncan and Owen. Chris then explains that they have to drag the ship to open water and sail north until they find Chef to receive their next instructions. As Alejandro rips off his shirt, he says he will pull from the boat's bow, prompting Duncan to ask, "With your shirt off?" Alejandro then pulls the boat with his chest between some rope, while Courtney and Heather can't help but stare, captivated by him. Sierra reminds him to focus, explaining her idea to cut the top off of their wooden Gwen head and hop in it before the water gets to them. Courtney and Heather happily agree to this, due to their problems with Gwen.
While Duncan realizes he is the only one pushing to boat, Owen's stomach begins to rumble.
How long can you hold a fart before it's seriously dangerous? One time, I tried to hold in a fart all day at school, and when it came out, it ripped my pants off!
”
Duncan asks him if he is going to pass gas. Owen confirms this and then runs, sits down on the ice and lets out a huge fart, causing the ice to break, and both teams are able to get in their boats in time, with both boats floating properly. Duncan and Alejandro flatter Owen to try and gain his trust, with Duncan saying Owen saved their butts with Owen's butt, and with Alejandro saying Owen really was the MVP for figuring out it was a boat. Duncan purposefully asks Alejandro to repeat the "complisult" he threw at Owen, and Alejandro tries to brush it off saying he doesn't remember, but Duncan says it, "Incredibly stupid genius," which Alejandro says it was just a stupid joke and that no one can be as funny as Owen.
I've never been this popular. Oh, I feel like the belle of the ball! Without the belle part, or the ball part. The 'of the' part still works though.
”
On Team Amazon's side, Heather believes Courtney, who is driving the boat, is zig-zagging on purpose to slow them down, but she denies it, saying it's impossible to steer in a "stupid goth head." Meanwhile, Sierra is trying to cheer up a sad Cody, by taking him to her happy place: a beautiful mountainside filled with Codys, which some are giant, and some are small enough to fit in one's pocket, while others are chocolate-covered marshmallow Codys, making Cody vomit.
For being the first to sail to a set location in the challenge, Team Chris Is Really Really Really Really Hot, they receive a viking hat, which they give to Owen to be captain, and a cannon. The next part of the challenge is to capture a flag first or sink the other team's boat with cannons. The rocks are revealed to be flint rocks to fire their cannon.
Meanwhile, Team Amazon nominates Cody as the captain and are given no tools to light their cannon. In Team Chris Is Really Really Really Hot's boat, instead of going for the flag, Owen orders them to attack Team Amazon and to talk like "Vikings," while accidentally using a pirate accent instead, saying that disobeying would be mutiny, mispronouncing it as "muttony."
'Muttony'? Ugh. I must play along at least until I regain Owen's loyalty, at which point I will destroy that butter donkey!
”
Team Amazon fires first and misses, which causes a back and forth firing battle, until Sierra notices incoming impact, jumping over Cody, getting hit instead in order to protect him.
Will I require surgery? Absolutely. Months of physiotherapy? Probably. Was it worth it? Definitely.
”
Owen uses his team's last piece of ammo and fires it out of the cannon, but it ends up hitting the mast of their ship and breaking it, leaving them stuck where they are. The Amazons pass them, taunting the other team by saying that they will win. When it looks like the Amazons are going to win, Owen orders his team to shoot him out of the cannon. Duncan asks Owen if he's sure about what he's doing, but Owen assures him he is. Duncan lights the cannon with the flint and fires Owen straight at the Amazons' boat. Just as the Amazons are about to take the flag, Owen crashes into the enemy ship, completely destroying it and winning the challenge for his team.
Heather, back in the plane, confronts Alejandro and wants to know why he is picking off her teammates and ignoring her. He then explains that he is trying to get rid of Courtney and for his plan to work, he has to make Courtney think he likes her.
Heather is so jealous! This is great! Not because I want her too, uh, because she'll be that much easier to eliminate.
”
Owen is then shown talking to Duncan, feeling conflicted about if he should trust Alejandro, while Duncan carves Gwen's face into the side of his chair. Duncan advises him to "do what Noah would do." Owen seems to agree. At the elimination ceremony, Sierra, Cody, and Heather all plan to vote off Courtney, but Chris then reveals the episode to be a reward challenge, leaving Heather and Sierra mad. Chris then signs off the episode.
Team Chris Is Really Really Really Really Hot is seen receiving their reward, a Swedish massage from a therapist. However, the therapist is revealed to be a large Viking. Alejandro begins to scream in pain as the Viking massages him while Duncan and Owen watch in horror.
Owen mistakes vikings for pirates throughout the episode. This is seen when he starts using pirate slang to shout out orders at his crew while wearing a Viking helmet.
Sierra reveals in this episode that she has "married" Cody fourteen times in her head, and two times in her blog.
This is the first episode to feature a freeze-frame moment that isn't the result of Chris pausing the video. In this episode, the moment is before Owen impacts into Team Amazon's boat and destroys it.
Cody building something resembling his love interest in a racing challenge recalls Geoff building his bike and naming it after Bridgette in "That's Off the Chain!"

Much like how Owen mistaken Vikings with pirates, Chris too has his information wrong. Vikings do not have cannons on their ships as gunpowder (let alone cannons) are not introduced to Europe until the 13th to 14th century, 200 hundred years after the Viking Age ended.
