When Gwen notices how much the others feel sad about what happened early, she decides to fix it herself. She invites the kids and tell them the rest of the story; in this version of the story, it gets late and a monster wakes up, hungry for cute animal flesh. Gwen describes the monster begin purple, having duck-like feet and only having one big eye. She concludes saying that the beast (that she calls "the Morgorax") ate all of the animal friends, forcing them to live in his back.
After haring Gwen's story, the kids are terrified and can't even sleep as they're afraid the Morgorax will eat them. Courtney reassures everyone she put a lot of food so the monster will eat that instead, but Owen eats all of it. Since they don't know what to do they all start to panic until Courtney tells them to calm down; she then suggests to put traps around the school to stop the Morgorax and they all agree. In no time, the school is covered in booby-traps, meanwhile Chef is trying on his new scuba diving suit, Lenny then bites him which causes the teacher to go mad. He bustes out the office and all of the kids are shocked (including Gwen who then points out that the Morgorax was made-up). Chef gets caught in all of the traps and then hit by Gwen's spear.
After the mess, Chef's suit is destroyed but the kids are happy as they think they just saved his life. Owen asks Gwen what she's holding and finds out it's the last page of the book. She later admits she preferred her ending better.
