Invincibility

Invincibility, also called immunity, is the state of being protected from elimination. It is usually earned by winning a challenge. If the teams are still banded, then the whole team wins invincibility. If the teams are merged, the invincibility normally only goes to one person, with a few exceptions.

If one contestant individually wins invincibility, they also have the option to give it to another player. This has been mentioned, but never actually happened.
- According to Todd Kauffman, "Haute Camp-ture" would originally use this idea, with Leshawna giving up her invincibility to Gwen.
- However, a similar situation occurs in "Severe Eggs and Pains" when Priya indirectly allows Millie to win the challenge, though this was because both tied and Chris said that only one could win.
Gwen has won invincibility for her team more times than anyone else, with nine wins in total.
Gwen is the only contestant who's won invincibility in three different seasons. However, that's because the teams were only formed in the third episode of Total Drama Action, with the second episode being the only time in the series when contestants could win immunity before the formation of teams.
Heather and Julia have won individual invincibility more times than any contestant, with six times each.
- However, Julia beats Heather's previous record by one more immunity when counting her using the immunity idol in Off the Hook!.
Although the episodes "That's Off the Chain!" and "Hook, Line, and Screamer" reward the winner with invincibility for the player who comes first or performs the best respectively, the challenges in them result in an automatic elimination for the player who came last or performed the worst, rendering the invincibility null and pointless.
Sierra is the first and only contestant to win solo invincibility but still be eliminated regardless, due to Chris's decision.
Total Drama: Revenge of the Island marks the first season no female contestant wins invincibility.
Total Drama Island (2023) marks the first season no male contestant wins invincibility.
Total Drama Island (2024) is the season where the most contestants win individual invincibility, with a total of si x o f th em. Furthermore, everyone in the final six has won invincibility at least once.
"Circling the Drain" is the only episode where the winner gets to share their invincibility with another player.
The most times a contestant has had invincibility in a single season is four times, with this feat being achieved by Heather in Total Drama Island, Courtney in Total Drama Action, and Julia in Total Drama Island (2024).
