The Gilded Chris Award is a gold-like statuette of Chris's likeness which he hands out in Awards Ceremonies to represent safety from elimination in Total Drama Action. They are the Total Drama Action counterparts of the marshmallows that are present in most seasons and the barf bags in Total Drama World Tour. According to Chris in Riot On Set, they represent "the luster of fame" and "immortal greatness". At the Awards Ceremony, Chris will typically hand out Gilded Chris statuettes to everyone present minus the eliminated contestant. The contestant who does not receive a Gilded Chris Award must then take the Walk of Shame and ride the Lame-o-sine, presumably to the Total Drama Aftermath studio.
Total Drama Action[]
In Monster Cash, Chris introduces the Gilded Chris Awards as a replacement for the marshmallows from last season. Gwen disparages the statuettes in the confessional, but admits that she still wants one. She and Trent later become the first contestants to receive Gilded Chris Awards in Alien Resurr-eggtion.
In Riot On Set, Owen decides to eat a Gilded Chris and learns that they are made of chocolate and wrapped in gold foil. This is confirmed by Izzy in The Aftermath: I and Chris in Ocean's Eight - Or Nine, who says the Gilded Chris Awards are made of the finest Belgian chocolate. When Owen is eliminated in the latter episode, the entire Killer Grips team (minus Courtney) give their statuettes to Owen as a gesture of friendship. The Gilded Chris Awards are last handed out in Top Dog, and Duncan receives the final award of the season.
Total Drama World Tour[]
The Gilded Chris Award makes an appearance in Super Happy Crazy Fun Time Japan in the Japanese promo for Total Drama Action.
Total Drama: Revenge of the Island[]
The Gilded Chris makes a reappearance in Total Drama: Revenge of the Island.
In A Mine Is a Terrible Thing to Waste, both teams are instructed to venture into the mine and retrieve a Gilded Chris Award. The pedestals of each team's statuette represents their team colors; green for the Toxic Rats and red for the Mutant Maggots. Brick ultimately breaks his statuette while trying to save his teammates, while the Maggots' Gilded Chris gets stuck in Anne Maria's hair.
Total Drama All-Stars[]
In Heroes vs. Villains, a photo of a Gilded Chris Award appears behind Chris in his jail cell. The Gilded Chris Award is later seen on a shelf behind Mal as he ransacks the McLean Spa Hotel in Sundae Muddy Sundae.
Mal is assigned to find the long-lost Gilded Chris as part of the challenge in The Bold and the Booty-ful. However, he never finds it and instead decides to spend his time sabotaging the other contestants.
Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race[]
The Gilded Chris Awards make their final appearance in Hello and Dubai. They are seen in multiple shops in the Dubai Gold Souk.

Cartoon Network released a Total Drama Action shirt with a Gilded Chris on it. It is light blue with the words "Total. Drama. Action." in big black letters.
A real life Gilded Chris Award, presented by Mark Thornton.
A real-life Gilded Chris Award was featured on the Total Drama Production Blog being held by Mark Thornton, one of the series' directors. Unlike the animated version, the real-life Gilded Chris' arms are folded instead of at each side and Chris appears to be grinning rather than smiling.
Trivia[]
- Bridgette and Geoff are the only contestants in Total Drama Action to never receive a Gilded Chris Award.
- Trent and Gwen are the first male and female contestants to receive Gilded Chris Awards.
- Ironically, they are also the lowest ranking members of their teams.
- According to a Fresh TV blog, the Gilded Chris Awards are either hand carved by interns or made using a 3D printer. Chris prefers the former method as it has the "aura of the interns' sorrow".
- Total Drama Island, Total Drama: Pahkitew Island, and Total Drama Island (2023) are so far the only seasons of Total Drama proper in which the Gilded Chris Award doesn't appear.
- Chris throws a Gilded Chris Award at Lindsay in Alien Resurr-eggtion, and it knocks her out with a loud clang suggesting it is made of metal. However, the Gilded Chris is referenced as being made of chocolate on several later occasions in the season.
