Max Mayhem is the cousin of Owen who first appears in Dissing Cousins.
Personality[]
While Max retains his older self's ambition of being a supervillain, he's actually more successful in this continuity. A master manipulator and overall a rude person, a contrast to his older self's poor social skills and actually having a soft side underneath, this Max finds pleasure in harming others. He is even capable of manipulating others to partake in life-risking tasks. Needless to say, this version of Max is a much more competent villain than his older counterpart, having both the skills and intelligence to do so.
Total DramaRama season 2[]
Max enters the daycare.
Max debuts in Dissing Cousins. He visits the daycare for International Cousins Day. His cousin Owen is not too happy with it, since he knows Max is problematic. He hosts a minion competition with Harold, Beth, Duncan, and Owen. For the first test, the kids must get out of a sandbox filled with quicksand. For the second test, Max gives the kids helmets and tells them to go down the slide. Owen saves his friends, which disappoints Max. For the final test, Max wants the kids to walk across a narrow plank that is positioned over a pool of toxic waste. He lashes out at Owen for walking across the narrow plank so easily. Ella joins his minion contest too, but Max gets quickly irritated by her. Thanks to his harsh words, Ella turns into a dragon and scares the kids. Max leaves the daycare and promises not to hurt Owen's friends anymore.
He appears in the credit scene of Cartoon Realism. Max does a parody of Frankenstein. His creation (used by lightning and the laboratory table) is actually a pizza pie, which he dines on afterwards.
In Snack to the Future, Owen calls his cousin to borrow a time machine. Max helps him, but tries to warn Owen about the risks of using a time machine. Owen doesn't care and runs away, leaving Max hanging on the phone.

- In this continuity, Max is revealed to be Owen's cousin, despite there being no indication that they were related to each other in the main Total Drama series.
- It's also notable that in the original series, Max shares a name with Owen's uncle.
Differences[]
- Max wears a light blue suit instead of the gray one worn by his older counterpart.
- Max's surname in the original series is not revealed. Here, it is Mayhem but whether it is simply an evil alias he came up for himself or his actual surname is unknown.
