Please help get Total drama renewed for another season on Netflix. We only need 25,000 signatures to make it happen. Here are some links I can show you to find proof. So please, spread the petition out to everyone and have them sign it.
As of January 1, 2018, I am no longer an active member on the community. I am glad I spent the last decade on the community, but it is time for me to move on. To see my final message, you can do so here.
If you want to reach me, I will only respond to messages sent to Community Central. I advise you speak to a staff member for a quicker response. Thanks for the outreach.
Wont know whether i will be around when the series is aired but the AU and non-canon concept of TDD would be a mess on the character and interaction pages. Because their interactions there would not affect their original interaction (eg Owen and COurtney enemies in original but friends in TDD).
So do you think we should make a subpage for TDD characters? (like this)
Also, do you think we should make a Jude page?Another idea is to put non canon templates on interaction pages.
This will be something the staff will talk about next year.
My thoughts right now:
Underneath the season the contestants last competed in (so Owen: RR, Courtney: TDAS, Trent: TDRI section, B: TDRI), we have a section for Daycare if they appear and just a brief paragraph or three about their characterization, their friends, conflicts, most memorable episodes, etc.
Interaction pages are another story. Maybe a section on the bottom. Maybe just put the interactions on the character pages. No clue.
Jude page: Depends on his role in the series. I'm sure pages will be made about the 6teen characters at some point though.
Perhaps another solution, as you said would be List of characters in Total Drama Daycare, similar to List of minor characters and we just write down all the characters in rapid fire like the audition tapes page.
Subpages are messy. We considered tabbers/subpages in the past for stuff like galleries and season sections, but those talks didn't go far. I'm opposed.
Overall, I really have no clue right now. The show got announced days ago and we have no clue what the dynamics are. We will get close to 1000 pages on the site after this news though.
If do not want subpage, another idea would be create an entirely new page for tdd characters. That way the character template can be fresh and we can put whatever interaction they had in the show there without further messing the already existing character template. Also because I doubt they would have the exact same personality as 4 year olds so that can be written anew. Imagine 4 yr old Courtney talking about CIT or lawyer stuff when she's not even in preschool.
Anyway I'll wait and see how itll go first. In the mean time I call dibs on Jude lizowski sandbox
Since it's not available for editing, can you edit something for me on its page? It's the very first sentence about TDD being an upcoming prequel of TD. TDD won't be a prequel, it'll be a reboot. We know that from TDI cast only Katie and Sadie knew each other prior to the show so it's obviously an "alternate universe" type of reboot that goes against original continuity (like Ben 10 Reboot).
The articles state it is a prequel, even though they also contradict themselves by stating this is an alternate universe. This is something I imagine the staff members will need to decide on next year. If it's dire, I would create a proposal and get 15-20 signatures.

Reboot is not necessary AU. Like in the case for the Scooby Doo franchise, shows like Pup and What's New are considered a diffrent continuity from Where Are You? but doesnt pick up from there, so it is not a reboot. Reboot is like start the show all over again but change here and there like all 3 diffrent Spiderman movies continuity and TTG to Teen Titans. TDD in this case is prequel AU like Baby Loony Tunes.
I don't believe there's any rule against advertising anymore. As long as it's relevant to Total Drama and you can write at least five meaningful sentences about it + what it's about, you should be fine.
