Paul

Paul is a recurring character in Total DramaRama. He is an elderly man who was sentenced to a long time out at the Happy Tots Daycare Centre for a prank he did when he was a child.

Personality[]

In his youth, Paul was known to be a bit of a troublemaker (similar to Duncan) as he would pull pranks, which lead to one prank that was so bad that he was given a 100-year time-out for it. As he got older, he began to feel remorse for what he did as he wondered if his time out is over yet.

Total DramaRama season 1[]

Paul made his first appearance in Gum and Gummer when Chef told the kids that when he finds the child who broke the #1 rule in the school (which is later known as one of many #1 rules in school) about bringing gum to school, they will be sentence to a long time in the time-out, where Paul appeared and asked if his time out is over and Chef pointed out that it's not time out yet. Later he appeared in a fantasy where Beth is hanging on a wall after Leshawna revealed that the person who put the gum in her hair will be sent to the dungeon. In the end when Beth is revealed to be the one who brought the gum, she was given a time out for only half an hour, which Paul was upset as he was still in his time out.

Total DramaRama season 2[]

In a small cameo appearance in a flashback in Mooshy Mon Mons Paul was seen still in the time-out corner as he asked if his timeout is over yet, only for Beth to point out that it's not her call when she realizes that she and the others will get in trouble for eating Chef's rare chocolate.

Total DramaRama season 3[]

In his first (and only) major role of the episode Legends of the Paul, Paul is finally released from his 100 year time out and left the daycare. However, upon learning that the world has changed in 100 years, Paul wanted to go back to the daycare but is unable to until Duncan manages to sneak him back in by posing as a new kid name Napoleon as Duncan wanted to pull the same prank that Paul pulled when he was a kid. During their time Paul teaches Duncan some of his old pranks, including his legendary prank that got him his 100-year time out, However Duncan updated the prank where after it succeed, Paul (who revealed himself as the prankster and stole the credit from Duncan) was sentence to 200 years' worth of time out, which he happily accepted.

Paul is the oldest student at the Happy Tots Daycare Centre, Although, his age keeps changing from 97 to 94.
According to Chef, the details of Paul's Legendary Prank were so epic that previous teachers who read it came down with the brain wobbles and was sent to a special island to live out the remainder of the lives.
- However, it turned out that Paul's Legendary Prank was ding dong ditch, which was considered epic back then.
Throughout the series, whenever the kids are sent to the timeout corner, Paul is nowhere to be seen.
