Priya was a camper on Total Drama Island (2023) as a member of the Ferocious Trout and was the winner of the season. She returned for Total Drama Island (2024) as the team captain of Team Rat Face.
Personality[]
Having been raised by her parents to be a champion since her youth, Priya is amongst the most athletic and determined players on the island. Since her parents were huge fans of the show, Priya is shown to be knowledgeable about Total Drama and how to perform in challenges. This is especially shown when she becomes the unofficial leader of Team Rat Face and comes up with strategies to help the team win. Priya is shown to be caring and loves to share her knowledge, shown when she befriends Millie. However when she is angered, she can get irrational and spiteful, to the point of even committing attempted murder.
Total Drama Island (2023)[]
It’s made clear that Priya’s a winner, and doesn’t intend to lose.
Priya arrives on the show claiming that her parents have been training her whole life in case there was a reboot, even having her first bungee jump as a baby. She has done all the crazy challenges, and is confident that the other players will be toast. After seeing Ripper flex, Priya is disgusted by this, simply saying “Oh, my.” After Caleb arrives, Priya and Zee have a discussion about betting against yourself, as Zee was betting that Caleb would win. Priya then makes herself come across as awkward after meeting her idol Nichelle, and in her first confessional she acknowledges that she failed to keep cool. Priya is placed on the Ferocious Trout, and she has a bit of trouble choosing her bunk when the teams are sent to their cabins. During the challenge, Priya works with Axel to raise the buckets. The two celebrate after their team wins.

Before the challenge in Pirates of the Cabbage'an, Priya is upset with Axel for kicking Ripper overboard, stating that taking out your own team members is not how you win a challenge. Priya proves to be quite athletic, easily dodging the flying cabbages, until being hit by one and knocked into the water. In her second confessional of the season, she apologizes to her parents who are watching for being the first one out. Priya and Ripper swim to land together. Like everyone else, Priya is horrified watching Zee “lose his leg”, before the reveal that it was a prosthetic, and she assumed he was in shock. Millie and Priya both glare at Zee for crashing the team’s ship into the rocks. Millie and Priya watch with surprise as Axel pushes Chris down after she’s announced as the second camper voted off.

As shown in Drown Town Abbey, Priya trains even as she eats breakfast, causing Millie to ask what she’s doing. Priya appears to become interested in what Millie was writing. As the Ferocious Trout discusses their order, Priya appears to be offended by Ripper’s assumption that she’s one of the weakest members. She declares her hatred for Ripper, saying that she wants him gone, and Millie does too, but that she isn’t sure what Scary Girl was thinking. Priya cheers Millie on when it’s her turn, telling her to “go more”. When it’s her turn, Priya herself performs surprisingly well, and easily beats Nichelle. Both Millie and Priya are surprised by Scary Girl’s strength, as she manages to throw one of the bears around with ease.

At the start of Numbskull Island, Priya is shown stretching with Millie after the last challenge. The two are interrupted by Chase, and Priya stands up for Millie after he says that she should try harder to make friends. Then Priya officially asks Millie to ally with her. Then Millie and Priya discuss adding another member to their alliance, reluctantly settling on Scary Girl. Priya has trouble talking to her, and Zee interrupts the conversation, interjecting what he believed Priya meant. This doesn’t work so well, as Scary Girl then tries stabbing Priya. Priya tries complimenting Scary Girl’s intelligence after she asks if she could use Damien’s skull, only to come to the realization that someone should seriously stop her from talking to Scary Girl. Priya joins Chase, Damien, Millie, and Scary Girl on offense for the challenge. Priya is targeted by Emma after checking to see if Millie’s okay. Fortunately, a shield pops up for her to hide behind. Chase, Millie, and Priya are all successfully beaten by the Frogs of Death, and the girls lay in a pile after being sprayed by Julia. Ripper then picks up Priya and uses her as a human shield, resulting in their conflict escalating. After the Ferocious Trout lose, Millie helps pull the plunger off Priya’s face. At the elimination ceremony, it’s shown that Priya has an ice pack, and she voted for Ripper. She is later confused when Scary Girl is booted off instead.

In Jurassic Fart, Priya is shown trying to train Millie’s reflexes, before Damien walks in and requests her help in voting himself off. She blushes after Damien compliments her looks, and agrees to join his campaign. After Damien leaves, Priya tells Millie that they should vote off Ripper before Damien. Priya appears to be embarrassed after farting when Chris announces the twist involves crossing the island in silence. After the challenge starts, Damien and Priya travel together, but briefly bicker over staying quiet. The two join Millie in traveling, and eventually meet up with Ripper as well. After finding out that Ripper was using Millie’s pillow, Priya gets in his face, demanding that he gave it back. The four of them eventually end up the main lodge, and after Ripper says he can feel the winner inside of him dying to get out, Priya warns him that it’s not the time or place, before being cut off as he farts. Priya is shown holding her nose after Ripper starts farting. The Ferocious Trout lose, and at the vote, Priya gets the first marshmallow. After Damien is voted off, Millie and Priya admit that they convinced everyone to vote for him as a thank-you for saving their lives in the challenge.
Priya once again contributes majorly for her team.
Priya insists on working the catapult in The Launchback of Notre Game. After Ripper calls her a nerd and demands that she got started already, Priya complains about wanting to fling Ripper into the sun, before sighing and deciding that she wanted to win. Priya draws a simple diagram of how the catapult works, and tells Millie about how she went to Catapult Camp, but doesn’t want anyone to know about it. After being irritated because of Wayne scoring, Priya yells at Chase to get in the bucket so she could fling him. After Chase fails, Priya flings herself, and confesses that she never knew her experience at Catapult Camp would be useful, and thanks her parents. Priya is shown jumping for joy after scoring 3,000 points for her team. Priya returns to her team before the lightning round is announced, and she decides that the team should participate, but is disappointed that their only option is flinging Zee. She explains the challenge to him as a “game” in which she has to fling him 10,000 feet through a storm cloud to win, after he doesn’t know what they’re playing.

The teams are merging in Severe Eggs and Pains, and Priya hands over her team’s flag. She is seen giving Emma a competitive glare after Chef announces the teams are dissolved. When Chris suggests partnering up for the challenge, Millie and Priya instantly turn to each other, sure they can rock the challenge together. After hearing Millie confess to being terrified of birds, Priya thinks of it as a bit of a problem, but hopes that the training she’s given Millie would help. The two are shown running from a cassowary, and Priya saves Millie after she fails to keep up, saying she knows Millie would’ve done the same for her. The two arrive second, but thankfully immunity isn’t taken yet due to Ripper spiking his egg. Priya insists on letting Millie take immunity, but is then jealous after her friend actually does so. After Chris reminds everyone that Millie won, Priya tries to hide her discontentment and congratulates Millie for winning.

In The Wheel of Vomit, Millie and Priya notice Julia’s change to full evil after she smacks their tray. Priya criticizes Millie’s decision to quit on the challenge, saying it affects her, and their alliance as well. Priya is eliminated from the challenge after barfing from the maggots in her poutine. At the vote, Priya chooses to vote off Millie for her recent shortcomings. After Millie is in the bottom two, Priya worries for her. She cheers after Millie receives the final marshmallow.

Millie and Priya are at a numbers disadvantage, but two contestants join their alliance. However, Priya disagrees with Julia’s idea of naming the alliance after herself. After Chris teases the contestants with the idea of a “nice, easy challenge”, Priya is easily able to tell that he wasn’t being genuine, and warns Millie that the challenge is gonna be tough. Priya briefly gains a high level of respect for Zee after believing that he was pretending to help Chase and Emma. Millie and Priya reunite with Julia as they traverse through the geyser field together. However, the three are tripped up by Zee’s advice of running fast. Priya ends up being landed on by Julia and Millie. Julia separates from them again to overtake Bowie. Millie and Priya are forced out of the challenge after encountering bees. At the vote, Priya votes for Bowie before voting for Zee in the revote.

At the start of The Truth, The Pole Truth and Nothing But the Truth, Millie and Priya are shown hiking together. Priya carries Millie back to camp, and is dehydrated too after Millie drank both of their water. Priya asks for water, but Chef denies her any food or drink. During the challenge, Priya tries to get to know Millie more and asks to read her notebook, wanting to know personal things about her. Unfortunately, Priya starts suffering from hallucinations during the challenge and imagines a floating glass of water which she tries swatting as if it were actually there. Priya later falls off her pole when leaning too far as she was still trying to get rid of the “floating water”. In the confessional, Priya is sure that she’ll never be able to trust another glass of water after this event. After Millie is out of the challenge because of Chase, Priya congratulates her for trying. After Millie narrowly survives the vote, the best friends hug each other.

In Tortoise Rigamortis, Millie and Priya change friendship bracelets. Priya is shown to be unaffected when Julia tries to insinuate that Millie didn’t care about their friendship as much due to the bracelet she made having less effort put into it than Priya’s. Millie and Priya have trouble getting their first picture due to Julia interrupting them. The three accidentally step on the lions, and wake them up after their phones vibrate. Julia, Millie, and Priya all end up in a tree. After being asked to vote off Bowie or Emma due to the alliance between the two making them a threat, Priya compares the decision of taking Julia’s side to feeding herself to the lions. Priya refuses to ally with Julia, and she joins Millie in leaving her behind. Priya is dragged into the water by a crocodile, only for Millie to save her. Priya is once again in need of Millie’s help after being beaten by a bear. In the confessional, Priya admits to not feeling bad about being out of the challenge, since Millie had improved. At the vote, Millie and Priya both vote for Emma.

Priya is woken up by Millie in Caved by the Bell, and the two put on superhero costumes and nickname themselves the “Super Alliance”. Julia wants to ensure she makes it to the finale and Bowie goes home, so she once again turns to the Super Alliance. However, both Millie and Priya reject Julia’s idea of joining forces. At first, Millie and Priya have trouble collecting tokens due to Millie’s clumsiness. After meeting with the monster Chef Hatchet mentioned, the Super Alliance finds enough tokens and Priya wins immunity at the last second. At the vote, both Millie and Priya vote for Julia. They’re surprised by Chris’s tiebreaker method, but are relieved when Bowie’s vote against Julia meant Millie wouldn’t be the one going home. Priya joins Millie in celebrating their spots in the final three. However, this excitement quickly turns to anger and frustration after Priya finds out what Millie was really writing about, and this creates a rift between the two.

In the finale, Priya lashes out at Millie after she suggests partnering up. Priya’s hatred for Millie affects her performance, as she’s rather violent while cutting down her tree with Damien’s help. Priya nearly falls in the lava due to Millie having sabotaged her raft. After finding out about this, she swears to make Millie pay, and refuses to jump to her raft. Priya jumps onto Bowie’s raft instead, and the two engage in a sword fight. However, the two form a truce in agreement that they could eliminate Millie then fight each other. Priya and Millie make up after Millie’s heartfelt apology, and Priya is more determined to win than previously. She experiences trouble getting her goats up the hill in the “final-final” challenge, but manages to make up for lost time after milking the mother goat quickly. In the end, she crosses the finish line first. At the final Campfire Ceremony, she receives the prize money and the final marshmallow. After Chris announces the rematch, Millie and Priya dance together.
Total Drama Island (2024)[]
Being last season's winner, Priya gets to choose her team, alongside Bowie.
Priya returns with the other fifteen contestants in The Pink Painter Strikes Again. She confirms that she only came back because she had to choose between working at the Weenie Wagon or another season of TDI. Priya is the team captain of Team Rat Face. In order, she chooses; Millie, Emma, Caleb, Damien, Axel, Zee, and Nichelle. Priya has an encounter with Caleb, whom she is immediately attracted to after he flirts with her: unaware that he only wants an alliance. Priya calls a team huddle, telling the other Rat Faces not to try stopping in a pose they can’t hold. She is the second one out of the challenge after she ran after Millie.
Priya is seen staring dreamily at Caleb in the opening scene of Taking It to the Rim Reaper. Caleb flirts with her again, and she promises to save him a seat. Priya proves to be a good team captain again. Priya is surprisingly one of many to be upset with Millie for what she did to Damien.
In You Poor Saps, Priya tells her team to separate into different paths to have a better chance at winning. Priya encourages Millie to apologize to Damien for her actions in the last episode. When Julia and MK throw a log onto her, Caleb, and Emma, Caleb carries them to the finish line, and grabs the other team members along the way. However, Caleb fails to make it to the end on time, causing Team Rat Face to lose the challenge.
In Choosin' for a Bruisin', Priya watches Caleb work out, much to her enjoyment. Caleb asks Priya if she if okay, causing her to blush. Once the challenge starts, Priya lets Emma decide which is the right answer, but she kept getting wrong. Eventually, Priya tells her team to chose opposite of what Emma says, leading to the team getting close to the end. However, because of Zee, Emma figures out what the team was doing and gets upset. Priya forces Emma to answer the last question. The final question is about Chase, so Emma says she knows the right answer, however, Priya told her to chose the opposite, costing her team the challenge because Emma listened to her. At the elimination ceremony, Priya is in the bottom two because of role of tricking Emma, much to Caleb's panic. Priya gets the marshmallow, sending Emma home.
In Ice to Beat You, Priya and Caleb run through the woods together. They both agree it is nice to train together. In the cabin, Priya makes out with her pillow, pretending it was Caleb. Zee sees this and believes the pillow is trying to kill her. Priya says that she has feelings for Caleb and not to tell him. Priya says that her team should do the obstacle course.
During the episode, Zee talks to Priya about her crush on Caleb, and she said that she regrets telling him. She asks him if he likes her, but doesn't let him answer, walking off. Zee knows that Caleb was only talking to her form an alliance. Throughout the episode, she and Caleb were flirting to one another and when they had to fight one another, they go easy on each other, much to Chris's annoyance. They both knock each other off the canoe and decide to search for the idol. They find out that their parents were similar that they forced them to do lots of work to prepare for Total Drama and life respectively. In a confessional, Caleb says that he is developing real feelings for Priya. He places a flower in Priya's hair at elimination. Zee sees this and still believes that Caleb is only tricking Priya, making him feel nervous.
At the start in Fun Fight at the O'Cake Corral, Priya and Caleb are trying to find the immunity idol without any success. They are grouped with Damien and Zee in the cake making challenge. Once the surprise judge arrives, , Priya starts is the most excited to see him. Priya uses Ripper's sweat to make their cake. However, once Chris finds out, he gives Julia's team the win.
In Haulin' n' Ballin', Priya excitedly takes to Zee about Caleb, to his discomfort. She wants her first kiss to be perfect, and Zee runs away in order to not say Caleb's secret. Caleb helps Priya win the challenge and immunity. Julia and MK manages to convince Zee to reveal the secret he was hiding. He reveals it and other secrets, leading to his elimination. Priya does not let Caleb talk to her at elimination.
Priya is comforted by Damien and the Hockey Bros, not letting Caleb speak to her. MK and Julia spy on them and make fun of her in a confessional. Throughout the episode, Priya doesn't speak to Caleb and tries crushing him with a bolder at one point. Everytime he tries, she angrily walks off. She almost wins the challenge, but she needs to place a few more pieces through the door, racing against Caleb and Julia. Caleb throws his final piece and wins immunity, being unable to be voted off by her.
In Circling the Drain, Caleb attempts to speak to Priya. She gives him sixty seconds. He struggles to say that he loves her, but her stopwatch goes off and walks off. Julia sees an opportunity to manipulate them both. She secretly gives them both the same advice of not talking to each other, saying that the other will come back eventually. Throughout the challenge, Caleb and Priya do not speak to each other, with Julia encouraging them. Eventually, Caleb speaks to Priya, against Julia's wishes, that he does care to her. She forgives him and they team up against Julia once Chris says the winner of the challenge wins immunity gets to share it with another person. Priya attacks Julia to knock off her tablet and to make Caleb win. However, Priya accidentally swaps tablets, causing Julia to win. At elimination, Caleb is revealed to have immunity because he is working with Julia. Priya gets angry with Caleb for working with her. Priya is at the bottom two with Damien, however it is revealed that Damien is eliminated. In revealed in a confessional, Caleb is working with Julia in order to protect Priya.
In Working K9 to 5, Priya and Caleb talk about the latter working with Julia. Caleb reveals that he was going to be voted off so he took immunity so Priya can't get voted off. She gives the alliance a second chance. The challenge is the constants get hunted by police dogs. When Caleb gets attacked by the small dog named Booger, Priya doesn't help Caleb as she wanted to see what the dog can do. For most of the challenge, Priya is winning. At the end of the challenge, Priya is getting dragged at the same time as Julia. The last person to reach Chris gets immunity. Julia uses her fake nails to drag against the dog dragging her to win immunity. Later, Priya goes to Caleb to ask which Hockey Bros they are voting for. Caleb responds with he needs to check with Julia, upsetting Priya. She says he should have never made that deal with her. Caleb is at the bottom two with Raj. Chris gives the last marshmallow to Caleb saying that Priya saved him. He says that he would rather go home then cause her another heartache. Touched, both of them kiss.
In Off the Hook!, Priya suggests that Caleb should double cross Julia, which he is against doing. He says his grandmother would disapprove, but Priya says he should anyways. The challenge is that the campers have to hook other people by their harness, then they will be dragged into a building to face their worst fear. Priya tells Caleb he should hook Julia, however, he hooks her instead as idea by Julia. She lands in a building were she faces her worst fear thunder and lightning. Priya eventually exists the building and faces off with Julia. They try to hook each other and Julia hooks her by her pants. Chris says that it doesn't count and drops her back on the ground. Wayne comes out of his fear, and all three of them hook each other and get carried away. Caleb and Priya exist their buildings at the same time, annoying Priya as if Caleb excited one second later, she would have won. Julia enters and both say Caleb should listen to them. Caleb instead hooks both, winning him the challenge. At elimination, Chef recounts why everyone would be sent home. She, along with everyone else is shocked when Wayne gets the first marshmallow. Then, Priya gets the final marshmallow. Priya starts gloating over Julia, but she reveals she stole Damien's immunity idol, making her safe from elimination. The only vote that counted was Julia's, eliminating Priya. At the dock, Priya gets carried by the Drone of Despair. When she leaves, she tells Caleb to avenge her.
In Soar Losers, Priya is one of Caleb's supporters. When it is revealed that everyone chose his side because they are against Julia, she attempts to comfort him by saying that Wayne's supporters are probably doing the same thing. Priya tells Caleb to go faster in the first leg of the race. She tells Caleb to keep going throughout the rest of the challenge. Priya tries to shoot down Wayne as he tries cross the tightrope, but is unable to do so as she feels bad. When Wayne becomes the winner, Priya comforts Caleb by kissing him, making him feel better.

- Priya is confirmed to be Indian, just like Noah, Ellody, Dave, and Raj.
- When asked about this, Terry McGurrin pointed out that in Meet the Victims, the background of the scene of Priya's birth indicates that she and her parents aren't from Canada and possibly migrated to there when she was a child. The background used in that episode is the same one used in Ridonculous Race "Maori or Less" which the episode takes place in New Zealand. When asked if Priya is from New Zealand, Terry pointed out that Priya needed to work on her accent, avoiding direct confirmation.
- As stated by Eman Ayaz, the staff wanted Priya to be played by an Asian voice actress in correspondence to her nationality. Eman Ayaz mentioned that she finds Priya a very relatable character.
- Priya has the distinction of being the only Total Drama Island (2023) female competitor to be seen naked, making her one of the few Total Drama characters to expose some kind of female nudity along with Heather, Izzy, Leshawna, and Jo.
- That being said, Priya is the only female competitor in the show to be seen fully naked without any kind of censoring pixelation but was only seen as such in her audition back when she was a baby as shown in Meet the Victims.
- She is one of four reboot competitors to be seen naked, along with Raj, Ripper, and Wayne.
- Priya is the second shortest participant of the fourth generation, being only taller than MK.

- Priya is the first contestant to be the sole winner of a season.
- Priya is one of fourteen contestants who have made it to the merge in every season she compete, the other are Alejandro, Bowie, Cameron, Duncan, Julia, Mike, Owen, Raj, Ripper, Scott, Wayne, Zee, and Zoey.
- Priya, along with Julia, Raj, Ripper, Wayne, and Zee, are the only contestants of the 4th generation to make it to the final 10 in both seasons.
- She's also one of eight contestants in general who have made it to the final four twice, with the others being Duncan, Gwen, Heather, Julia, Owen, Scott, and Zoey.
- In the second season of the reboot, she, Bowie and Millie were eliminated in the same order as they were in the finale of the previous season.

- Priya is the first member of the reboot’s cast to use the confessional.
- Since Priya's parents raised her from birth to compete on Total Drama and the reboot only takes place fifteen years after the first season of the original series, it is implied that Priya is 14–15 years old, unlike the rest of the cast. That said, it could also be possible that Priya was conceived by her parents before watching the show, and they gave birth to her after the first season ended, possibly even during the second season.
- Priya's biggest fears are thunder and lightning, as revealed in "Off the Hook!."
- In Priya's promotional, she has her hair clip despite facing the right.
