Owen takes over the job of caring for the class hamster and learns that he's evil.

Plot[]

The episode starts with Bridgette announcing that she will no longer take care of the class hamster, Lenny. Despite no one asking why, she shyly yet defensively yells at everyone that she just can't and to stop questioning her. As she ran off, Chef Hatchet announces that the pet caretaker position is now open. When he asked for volunteers, Owen happily offered, stating they'd have a lot of fun together. The montage of fun consists of running through a flower field holding hands, running in a hamster wheel and running into each others arms. The montage is cut short by Bridgette. She tries to tell Owen and Chef something about Lenny. Before she could Lenny gives her an angry glare. Terrified, Bridgette shyly says it's nothing and runs off. Chef is oblivious to the fact that Bridgette is terrified of Lenny. He happily gives Owen the position, much to the latter's happiness. After that, Chef warns Owen never to feed Lenny human food, to which he happily promises. Chef goes to Bridgette (hiding in a cubby) if she has any more advice for Owen. She does, but before she could finish, Owen appears with Lenny who rips a picture of her in half, terrifying the little girl. Chef remains oblivious. When Owen states lunchtime, Lenny swiftly dashes to Owen, who takes out a big sandwich. Lenny can't help but drool at the sight of it. Owen stops and thinks that, Lenny hasn't had his. He gives him Kibble, which is so dry that it turns to dust in one blow. Lenny begs Owen for a bite of his sandwich, to which he politely declines, stating it's against the rules. He decides its best if he eats his lunch away from Lenny, much to the former's anger, who escapes through a hole which happens to be behind the hamster wheel. As Owen eats his lunch, Lenny cuts a cardboard cloud down to land on him. It misses him. Owen looks up at the ceiling and saw it was Lenny, who cuts down more objects down the ceiling to land on him, some of which aren't even supposed to be on the ceiling. As Owen successfully dodges the falling objects, he slides into Chef, who asks him why they are falling down the ceiling. Owen tells him it was Lenny, but thanks to the latter's cute appearance Chef doesn't believe him. He asks Owen if he's sure he's ready to take care of Lenny. Before he could answer Bridgette whispers to Chef that it wasn't Owen's fault. Before she could say who it was, Bridgette saw Lenny holding a voodoo doll of her, about to poke it with a needle. Scared, she said it was no one's and runs off. Owen promises Chef he's ready to take care of Lenny. Chef gives him another chance. In the confessional, Owen says he wants to take care of Lenny, but feels like he doesn't like him. The episode cuts to Lenny lifting weights, with Owen stating he hasn't touched his Kibble. The former reacts by throwing the bowl at the latter. Owen believes Lenny needs some alone time, so he leaves. Lenny sneaks into Chef's office and steals his phone, with Chef being distracted by reading a newspaper about "A cat who loves italian food". Lenny exits the vents and uses the phone to order pizza. Owen finds out and says we can't do that because Chef hates it. When Lenny tries to order more, Owen takes the phone away and says he's not mad, just disappointed. Unfortunately, Chef finds out and says the same thing. Owen walks over to Lenny, who drools at the pizza slice he's holding; the latter says no. This angers Lenny greatly. He goes into his hamster ball and is about to attack Owen. Bridgette jumps in and saves him. She brings him to safety on the kitchen counter. Bridgette finally tells Owen that Lenny is evil. She told him that it was her fault. At first Lenny was adorable, but then Bridgette broke the rule about not giving him people food. He then starts forcing her to feed him more, to the point she's up at four making cannelloni. That's why she quit. Owen comforts Bridgette, stating that if they were to stay on the counter. Lenny is taking the fridge away by tow truck; Bridgette and Owen jump on the fridge and try to stop Lenny. They ram into people and then tell Cody to close the door, which stops Lenny in his tracks. They believe they're safe until Lenny breaks through the window with an airplane. He starts shooting the duo with Kibble. As Bridgette hides behind the fridge, she sees a bottle of mustard and gets an idea. She shoots Lenny's plane with mustard and he falls down. As Bridgette and Owen surround Lenny, he crawls into a boxing glove and starts punching them. Chef steps in and believes that Owen is teaching Lenny to box, which happens to be the number 2 rule. While thinking who will be the next caretaker, Beth volunteers. As expected, the episode cuts to Beth chained upside down intimidated by Lenny.
