- This episode was pulled from airing on Cartoon Network in the United States, likely due to similarities to the COVID-19 pandemic. It finally aired in March 2021 as the final episode of the second season.
- Chef's ringtone is the theme song of the original Total Drama series.
- Chef's paranoia is understandable as it is more dangerous for an adult to contract chicken pox than a child.
- Only the male characters got infected in this episode (including Harold who is absent due said infection). In addition, Duncan is the only male character not to be seen or be mentioned getting infected due to him not appearing in the episode.
