Courtney becomes infatuated with a new gold sticker incentive program that Chef introduces to the class.
Plot[]
The episode opens up with the children playing with the garbage left on the floor in the daycare. Izzy jumps into a pile of trash, Cody forms a "garbage angel" and Harold uses leftover pasta as a "wig", infatuated with himself on the mirror. In contrast, Courtney is later shown on the clouds, disgusted and spraying flies with insect repellant. Chef struggles to open the door before successfully doing so, only for him to get bombarded by a pile of trash, before entering the daycare, upset at all this garbage left on the floor, complaining about why the kids won't use trash cans to keep their garbage. Duncan remarks that it is easier to "just throw it on the floor", while Beth explains the "circle of life": kids make messes while adults have to clean it up for them. Beth throws an apple to the floor, attracting a bear that eats it. Upset, Chef says that he told the kids that garbage would attract bears, only for the kids to deny it. The bear gets subsequently chased out.
After chasing the bear out, Chef declares that the kids need to take on more responsibilities, only to get mocked by the kids, before introducing his "incentive program" - the Good for Me Sticker Board: a whiteboard with each of the kids' faces on them in a chart. For every good action the kids do, they get a golden sticker. Courtney shows her scepticism by explaining that stickers won't promote good behaviour, cognitive behavioural therapy would. In response, Chef shows off the golden stickers, attracting the kids, before giving one sticker to Izzy. Izzy gets excited and calls herself a champion, only for Chef to take it down to her dismay as it was a "demo". Courtney, still not into the incentive program, retorts that stickers are not suitable rewards for doing good deeds, but rather, the feeling of doing a good deed. Complimenting Courtney's monologue, Chef rewards her with a sticker, declaring that she's "in the lead" to her awe. Courtney's brain gets excited about the sticker program.
A montage of Courtney cleaning the daycare follows, showing actions like using a bulldozer to remove trash, attracting rats out of the daycare with a flute and vacuuming the daycare floor. Each action that Courtney does gets rewarded with a golden sticker, to the point where her section overflows with tons of them. The montage ends, and Harold finds the daycare "too sparkly" because of Courtney's actions. Harold bumps into a few blocks and gets crushed by one of them, while Owen lazes in the sink, complaining that Courtney makes them "look lazy". Courtney frantically looks for something to clean. Beth invites her to a game of "I'm a Donkey, You're a Donkey", before Courtney rejects it and proceeds to insulate the attic.
Courtney proceeds to tell Chef that she insulated the attic, only for Chef to deny giving her the sticker, as there's too little space for another sticker. Courtney suggests Chef place a sticker on her forehead, only for Chef to agree after much convincing. Courtney's brain is concerned by Courtney's current sticker addiction. Chef says that Courtney did everything for Chef, only for Courtney to frantically claim that "there's gotta be more stuff", only for Chef to retort that "if [Courtney] can find it, [she] can do it". Courtney proceeds to save Chef $4,000 in taxes, improve Chef's car and repaint the ceiling to portray Chef giving Courtney stars, just to get stickers from Chef. Chef says that he might be spending the entire school budget on stickers. Chef later rewards Izzy and Cody for whistling a tune and picking his nose (and saying a part of the brain) respectively, much to Courtney's anger. Courtney complains about the situation, only to get rewarded a sticker. Courtney's brain realises that Courtney's obsessive streak is getting out of control and tries to reset Courtney's mindset, only to break the "reset lever" by accident.
Courtney, at her breaking point, confesses that the rules are unfair, and thus, null and void. And if she can't get stickers the normal way, she'd resort to do it the easy way. Courtney takes credit for Harold's finished puzzle, and hurts Cody and Beth just to "help" them for more stickers. Courtney mistakenly calls Beth "stickers". Harold, Owen and Izzy witnesses Courtney decapitating dolls just to fix them later for another sticker. Owen tries to tell Courtney that she's not being herself and she's controlled by the stickers, only for Courtney to declare that "I am stickers" and run into the vents.
Chef relaxes in his office, turning on whale noises and covering his eyes with tea bags, only for the kids to tell chef that Courtney's out of control because of the sticker board, calling it a "bad idea". Chef denies and subsequently ignores them. The kids plan to save Courtney by getting rid of the remaining stickers, only for Izzy to reveal that she managed to steal them from Chef's office. Unbeknownst to them, Courtney overhears their plans, now turning feral.
The kids proceed into the furnace, where Courtney uses the vents to snatch Izzy and Owen away. In fear, Cody runs only to trip and fall into sticker glue. Courtney places Izzy and Owen onto a pile of sticker glue, claiming that she'd never let them burn her stickers. Meanwhile, her brain rushes into a store called "Frontal Lobes" to buy a new reset lever. The kids use Cody as bait for Courtney, making him wear a star costume and tying him to a rope held by Harold. Courtney snatches Cody away, and as a result, Harold. Beth and Duncan uses it as an opportunity to burn the stickers. Courtney, witnessing it, tries to prevent Beth and Duncan from burning the stickers, but to no avail.
Meanwhile, Courtney's brain frantically tries to reset Courtney, only to do so successfully. Courtney, now in a normal state, asks the kids what happened. Harold assures Courtney that it's ok and Beth retorts that they'll never let Courtney have stickers again. Courtney thanks her friends for saving her, glad that no one got hurt. Izzy and Owen fall down from the trap, only to fall into more sticker glue.
At the end of the episode, Chef announces that he bought everyone sandwiches (called subs in-episode). The kids get excited, before Chef tells them that he gets a golden sticker for every sub he buys, and if he gets ten, he can get a free one. Courtney, excited about the sticker, begs Chef to give it to her.
