Trent plays his guitar in Not Quite Famous and earns high points for his team.

In Not Quite Famous, planning to play the guitar and sing, Trent signs up for the talent show to represent the Screaming Gophers. He is seen practicing on it prior to the event. Gwen also mentions having heard him by the Dock of Shame recently, and compliments his skills. In the challenge, he earns an impressive eight out of nine score from Chef Hatchet. It remains the highest until Harold displays his beatboxing abilities. A diary entry by Gwen read by Heather reveals that she loves guys who play guitar.

In Brunch of Disgustingness, when Trent moves into the Killer Bass cabin, now where the males are residing, his first concern is where to place his guitar. He unintentionally knocks Geoff over the head with it in the process.

In Haute Camp-ture, Trent plays his guitar at the pool with the other ex-contestants gathered around at night. He has it with him throughout the scene as everyone accidentally votes off Leshawna.

In The Very Last Episode, Really!, with seemingly no explanation, Trent has it with him for a short amount of time during the challenge.

In Aftermath: Bridgette Over Troubled Water, it is revealed that Geoff used the guitar as a piñata at one of his latest parties. He is clueless to this fact, however, as Trent angrily inserts that he tried to tell him several times. The guitar is later seen intact during the song Baby, as part of the reunion of the Drama Brothers. Cody has been replaced by Sasquatchanakwa given that the former is still competing in the current season. In an exclusive clip for the episode, Trent plays his guitar and sings while being tied to a school bus full of fangirls who had kidnapped him.

In Aftermath: Revenge of the Telethon, Trent plays the guitar during the musical number Save This Show.
