If You know One thing about Cody from Total Dramarama it's probably the fact that he's a punching bag. In almost every episode he's in, He's constantly tortured. He's even died a few times! If I had a nickel for every time Cody was tortured in Total Dramarama, I'd have a fortune. The only GOOD Cody moment I could possibly think of was when he got a reward from Chef's mom in "Mother of All Cards ."
It's supposed to be funny whenever a cartoon character gets hurt. Often, when a character gets hurt in a cartoon, we laugh. But when Cody gets tortured, we feel bad for him because it happens so much. I know he's just a cartoon character and he's not even real, but It still sucks to see him getting tortured a lot. He's even died a few times and Death is NOT funny.
In the episode "Tiger Fail", He actually dies and No one gives a crap. Gwen Just says "Yes I won!" Right after Cody DIED. She didn't even shed a single tear! Then, She and her friends go eat ice cream! Imagine this, You just died and all your friends just go "Whatever" and eat ice cream! I mean you really wouldn't care because your dead but still, eating ice cream right after someone you died is the most inappropriate time to eat ice cream.
Another thing That has happened to Cody a few times was him getting flung off a seesaw. One example of this was from the episode "The Bad Guy Busters " where he was sitting on the seesaw minding his own business and drinking a juice box when Izzy comes in and flings him off! And I can tell that she did it on purpose! C'mon Izzy, He was just drinking a juice box! What did you fling him off for? Imagine your sitting on a seesaw minding your own business and then some orange-haired demon wearing a green dress shows up and flings you off! That would suck right?
Not too long ago, We actually got an episode focused on Cody, and The ENTIRE episode was Cody torture. In the episode, Cody gets a new shirt and the kids don't recognize him, so he pretends to be someone else. He also does a lot of these stunts where he constantly gets hurt, but the other kids are impressed. At the end of the episode, Cody reveals himself, and all the kids are angry because they were watching him do stunts. I mean c'mon! He pulled off all those stunts! He skydived with a freaking LION, but now ya'll hate them just because It was Cody who did them?! That is so mean-spirited and hypocritical!
